MACADEMIAN GIRL IN PARIS WITH CLAIRE’S STARRING in ‘SUMMER FESTIVAL LOOK BOOK 2014’
As you already know, at the beginning of the month I visited Paris for the first time- if you want to read about it some more, click HERE. Today I would like to write about the reason of my trip, namely the opening of the “Claire’s Summer Festival Lookbook.”
Everyone who knows me is aware of the fact that when I prepare an outfit, the accessories I choose would certainly do for a dozen of people. It’s no wonder with my motto being “MORE IS MORE”. I think that there’s no place for any restrictions or putting oneself together- fashion is all about experiments and playing with aesthetics. That’s why I had so much fun when Claire’s invited me to London last year. This year I got an invitation as well, but this time the event (along with its main attraction- a masque party) was held in the capital of haute couture. As I was picked to be Poland’s representative together with 3 other girls from France, England and Spain I managed to get into the brand’s International Festival Lookbook. I really appreciate this distinction. Well, and I also I got a chance to promote the Polish “Opener Festival.” If someone from abroad hasn’t heard about it yet, now he would certainly have to come to Poland and make up for it! ;D My festival Must-Haves from the Claire’s 2014 summer collection along with some tips concerning the outfits for such occasions are to be found in the lookbook. I think I don’t have to mention that I chose a lot and focused on colors?😉
During the trip Claire’s not only organized the masque party but also took care of the following morning, so that the guests could do something productive. On the day of the departure, the crew organized a cooking class for the invited bloggers and stars! That’s it! It all took place in an amazing candy shop called Briochine Divided into 4 groups we were preparing non gluten muffins. I have to admit, that I haven’t had so much fun for a long time ;D Having collected a bunch of wonderful memories, I was really sad to leave Paris… But no worries- I’m sure, that I’ll be back there someday, and when I do- I’ll take you with me! ;****
